Abertura means "openness or opening" and is the first event to happen in Portuguese territory to present an experimental perspective on VJing and realtime interactive performance.

This first year´s event has a strong focus on the broad variety of technical approaches that reflects methods and techniques in the making of live visuals.

The website is an online introduction to the event, where users can find line up as well as a brief description to the participating artists.
